Dream in Color Cardigan - Digital Download
A wonderful lace-stitch cardigan that is comfortable to wear and a bit different. Notice swing type shape, the V neck, the bell sleeves, the variety of colors we had fun using, and the contrasting picot crochet trim. Have fun using your own color selection and enjoy the complements when you wear this.
MATERIALS:
Yarn used was Harrisville Highland Shetland.
Our sample was made with 6 colors: A different color for the left sleeve, the
right sleeve, the left front, the right front, the yoke/back. The crochet trim
was the 6th color. You can also try a single color using about 6 to 7 (depending
on your size) skeins with a different color trim.
Multi-Color Version:
3 skeins color # 71(Hyacinth) for yoke and back.
1 skein each of color #’s 22 (Plum), 23 (Magenta), 28 (Iris),
21 (Violet), and 7 (Tundra-trim color).
Single-Color Version:
6 (6, 7, 7, 7) skeins of the color of your choice
1 skein of contrast color for trim (optional)
Additional supplies needed:
1 pair of size 10 U.S. needles for lace
1 size 9 U.S. circular needle (40” or 47”) for seed stitch section
1 Row counter
1 Crochet hook size H
Three buttons (any size desired)
SIZES:
To fit bust: Extra Small (29” to 32”), Small (33” to 36”), Medium (37” to 40”),
Large (38” to 44”), Extra Large (45” to 48”)
This will fit with a little to no ease at bust area, while lace area will have
ample ease.
GAUGE:
21 st = 5 inches using lace pattern
